No one’s business is perfect! While I don’t expect any business to meet all of these criteria, I am looking for the following characteristics:

Business

  • Privately Owned by Founder / Owner selling a majority interest

  • A culture of excellence & strong employee engagement

  • Mission critical product / service in a niche market

  • Operating in a fragmented industry with no dominant player

Financial

  • History of profitability: $750K - $2M EBITDA

  • Recurring / Re-occuring revenues

  • Limited customer concentration

  • Clean books and balance sheet

Geography

I am primarily focused on businesses and owners located in the Colorado Front Range (within 75 miles of the Denver metro), but will opportunistically extend to other marked geographies for the right fit.
